How to I toggle the desktop mode from mobile mode on a laptop?

as it says go to site settings but I cant find what to set?

Systems used

Windows, Google chrome on a Lenovo Laptop

Desktops and laptops are automatically configured to go onto Desktop Mode, because they're widescreen

When you're on a desktop or laptop, I don't think it's possible to use Mobile mode unless you use a certain software to make the site think you're on a phone

I think the changes to the site are also affecting desktop mode, because on all my devices they changed too

Unless it really isn't meant to be a thing :P

My devices;

1) Windows 11, 1366x768 Lenovo, Firefox and Google Chrome

2) Windows 7, 1920x1080 Microsoft, Firefox

If you're meaning that you want to use the old site layout instead of the new mobile friendly one, I don't believe that is possible. I am pretty sure that the changes are for everyone and there isn't a way to toggle between the old layout and the mobile friendly one

Not for me thought eve said we could as I dislike how it looks on desktop

I found a way. Just play with your device long way. It is crazy ugly but it defaults back to the desktop version.

I think she said that after I typed my post above ^^'

I saw her say something like she would do some research on the topic but didn't say how to do it yet
