Alari | Female | Mention: Sikúnguak, Sol, Orion, Valdís

Her eyes flash open to feel presence outside of her den. She wished for lonesome and had her thoughts be to herself. She was gathering an audience that was most likely watching her fret and battle her ongoing thoughts in her head. She felt a presence enter her den without asking. She was about to snap because well she was intentionally ignoring the wolves gathering outside her den. She hated the pressure and the deliverance of these males. Her eyes noticed it was Sikúnguak to check on her. She felt a pull to nuzzle him after his generous assurance of affectionate licks to make her mind clear from the cloudy thoughts. She looked at the purple lilies that he gave her to decorate her light gray and white fur. Her heart swelled from his beautiful thought.

He remembered my favorite flowers and colors. Val would also be perfect and to keep me chatting, instead of thinking.

She got up as he was scolding the wolves for invading her privacy and to go set up their ceremony. She looked at Sol and she barked at him as he was leaving "Thank you Sol for thinking about me. Though I was not hungry and was actually waiting for the elk that you will be picking out for the ceremony, dear. And you do not disrespect my Beta like that or next I'll have Sikúnguak rip out your tongue. You will never question him or you will be questioning me. Understood? And you do not antagonize the prisoners or the omegas. They did nothing to you. Malakai is minding his own business and Cognar is being Cognar. Malakai will NOT be cleaning my nest. Understood? And the beorns take care of the prisoners, not the Akashi."

She flicked her tail, annoyed at the male. Yes they were friends, but she was not stupid. He had an obvious crush on her. And him lashing out on others out of jealousy is not the way to win her kind heart. She scoffed in anger looking away at the male.

Her eyes drifted over to Orion changing her expression on her face to a simple kind look displayed on her face. She lashed her tail and she barked “I suppose you should. I would suggest taking the prisoners and the omegas. Let them stretch their legs and make use of their time. I may be pardoning them from their crimes, if they are on their best behavior. As my father placed them for their crimes, and I did not. Please relay my message to them and I hope they use it well.”

She barked “Sik.. I would chose a wolf to help you get ready. Maybe a she wolf that knows what they’re doing or an apprentice. I'm sure Aalia would love to participate in helping the Alpha and Beta. She admires us and I would like to show our appreciation. Oh I think red would look great in your white fur,Sik.” She dipped her head hiding the blush if it was noticeable and looked back up with a neutral expression on her face.

She pushed past the males going down the rocky trail. Her stride was elegant and graceful and body was full of power and an aura of striking beauty. Her fur was sleek and bright in the sun and her light amber eyes were lovely like honey. She needed to find her wolf that would helping look extravagant to be the first female alpha. She went to the she wolf’s den that she chose.

She barked “Oh, Val.. Would you take pleasure of helping me get ready for my ceremony? Pretty please..”

Sol | Akashi | Male
As he waited for the two shakiras, he padded around the camp, letting out a sigh as the crisp dawn air brushed past him, and the sun beemed down on his fur. He noticed Alari standing by one of the dens, and he padded over to her. "Hey," He said. "I- I'm sorry. About earlier." He averted his gaze from the alpha, thinking it was stupid to have done those things. "I'll, um," He started, then looked up to see her face and her eyes; feeling ashamed, he lowered his head again. "I'll wait for the shakiras. Sorry for disturbing you, alpha" He padded away, somewhat upset. She's right. What was I thinking? Sik is a much higher rank than I am. I must be crazy. He knew he was crazy, crazy for Alari, but he knew he must not let that get in his way. Even if he had a personal battle with the beta, than he'd have to settle it on his own time. Right now, there was work to be done.

Aatya of Druids

"Wavering,
the threads between treason and loyalty
grow weak."
- - -

Aatya | Akashi | Female
@: Mentions of Sikúnguaĸ, Sol

- - -

As Sikúnguaĸ spoke to the pack generally, Aatya's eyes could've been akin to diamonds with the way they sparkled. His authorative voice, the way he snarled... all much too enticing for the female to spare a glance from. She watched as his muscled figure strode through the camp with the ferocity of a fearless leader -- Aatya knew that this wolf deserved to be Alpha. Not the prickly one within the den. And it was for that reason that Aatya had no issue in nodding: she'd leave camp, sure. But not on anyone elses command but his, in her mind.

Nevertheless, the beautiful multicolored wolf stoically nodded, her voice soft and gentle -- the entire opposite of how she spoke to Facilis, "yes, Beta Sikúnguaĸ," she said, before turning the course of her walk toward Sol just as he called for her. It was then, however, that her demeanor changed. She'd strut past Sol without much of a second-glance, allowing her tail to brush under his chin as she padded past, her eyes sharp and keen to his reaction, but only from a side-glance. She'd keep her eye on him, too, offering him a kind smile with just a hint of sheepishness.

"My apologies, sir," she said, referring to her tail brushing against him, "I'm just a little dazed and distracted. I didn't get the best sleep last night, I'm afraid."

Aatya would continue on her walk, headed toward the location where the ceremony would be held. Whether or not Sol would follow and continue to her conversation was not up to her; for she'd rather choke down her pride and get the day over with. She'd have no problem, as always. Aatya was a skillful weaver of tales, creator of masks, and weaponizing words. She would manage. She always did. But that didn't stop the itching feeling deep within her chest as she considered what she'd have to call Alari from there on.

Alpha.

Such a powerful, domineering word. It held strength and authority. Something that Alari, even throughout their upbringing together, never managed to impress Aatya with. Sikúnguaĸ, on the other hand, was the epitome of gracefulness. But he was far out of her reach, despite her charms and attempts at wooing him. Eventually, Aatya started setting her sights on other males -- and females, occassionally -- for she realized that it was going nowhere with him. It didn't take a genius to put the puzzle-pieces together. It was practically fated to be, wasn't it? The Alpha and the Beta. The Prince and the Princess. The King and the Queen.

But Aatya didn't want to kneel to such a Queen.

She picked up a few white roses sprouting from a particularly thick thorn bush, ignoring the taste of blood on her tongue as she nipped it off the branch. Then another, and another. She'd take these roses and begin to decorate the beach with them, careful to shred the thorns away as to not accidentally harm anyone on the beach -- that would be far too obvious. She'd play the long game. Play the part.

It was all she could do, as a female, and win.

Nikolai - M - Mention(s): Aatya (Indirectly Sikunguak)
~
Nikolai heard the snarls of Sikunguak from halfway across the camp, and his heart fell a bit. He wanted to eat food, then do something productive. But apparently he wouldn't be allowed to.
Sighing, he emerged from behind the dens in time to see Sikunguak's hard, piercing stare that portrayed every single drop of dominance he held. Nikolai, if it was any other wolf, may have stood up for himself.
But a Beta was a Beta. And Betas were to be obeyed.
Doing on a half-empty stomach would be miserable, but disobeying a direct order from the Beta would be even worse. Nikolai forced himself to do something. Maybe then he could relieve his hunger after that. Nikolai put that on his "to-do list"... eat breakfast.
But first, he had work to do.
Pausing on the outskirts of the camp once more, he could see Sol still loitering around Alari - no, the alpha's - den. That would take some getting used to.
Nikolai wasn't against it per se, but he was willing to let it go and see how it went. Then he'd make his decision. Nothing rash.
~
Nikolai cut through the back of the camp in making his way to the lake, where the ceremony would be held. The dens were empty of wolves - no-one was snoring away this late, right? - and Nikolai once again found himself to himself once again.
The dens were dark and empty, and Nikolai padded slighty faster through them. A tree was welcoming and open - other's dark, empty dens felt like a slight breach of privacy.
Padding forward, he spotted Aatya near a rose bush. Nikolai involuntarily thought, ouch. Those thorns must hurt... yet Aatya was going for them with a streak of passion, it seemed.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to go over there and have a look. Nikolai didn't have much of an eye for flowers, but they looked good. Plus, Nikolai wanted to know what was driving Aatya with such a passion. Even he wouldn't have been going for them like that - and Nikolai had a rather stubborn streak.
Plus, he'd look like he was doing something productive when really, he was just helping someone productive by doing something not as productive. Nikolai didn't want to skimp on the work, but he wasn't sure how much he could do without eating.
Mind made up, Nikolai altered his path slightly to coincide with Aatya.

Eudora | Female | Shakira | M: Malakai

The frail skinny wolf was cuddling in her pelts of an elk that kept her warm throughout the night. She could feel the sun on her pelt and her light yellow eyes awoke to the day of that little brat’s ceremony. Eudora slowly arose in her den blinking away the pain of the sudden light from her dark shelter. She looked at the den and had a smile plastered on her face. A smile that was not kind or natural. A twisted smile on her maw that gave a wolf’s belly a churn of what it was actually meaning behind it. Eudora stepped out of her den welcoming the sunshine and her eyes narrowed at the wolves buzzing around. As much as she hated that little brat of an Alpha, wolves had a job to do.. She did not hate that brat for being the alpha, but in a deeper hatred that was rooted from the day she was born. She needed this day to go smoothly, not for the brat’s sake, but for her own. Eudora needed her plan to go smoothly and she will achieve it in one way or another.

The Druids will tear in so many pieces… But it will do them good. And that Brat will watch her pack crumble under her reign. The elder wolf thought to herself while going to join Malakai in the shade.

She barked at the younger male and dipped her head in the process “Malakai.” Her eyes looked at him with a scornful look that to keep their voices quiet for them to hear as she needed to tell him something and he needed to get in line. She pawed the ground playing with the losing gravel underneath her paws. Her head tilted watching the loose rocks fall to the ground with the tone being light, but so impactful. She whispered to Malakai “I have a plan, you won’t like it, just let me know if you’re in..”

Malakai had turned his attention to her. Eudora looked at him as they were the same height. His face displayed a smirk. A smirk that made chill up her spine of his true intentions that she would know from watching him grow to who he is now. Malakai whispered “Fine, Eudora. Spill… I have a female to be wooed.” Eudora let out a deep chuckle at his antics of his bachelor ways. She shook her head in his humor, but she had to get back to being serious. She looked across the camp and back at Malakai.

She whispered “I need you and all any wolf that wants to cause a ruckus to not.” She watched Malakai’s eyes widened from her outrageous request. He opened his mouth to protest and she added an angry whisper “Let her have this ceremony… It will hurt worse, when you take it.. But I have a plan of my own.. And I just need you and Cognar to behave.. Or it will not work.” Malakai looked at Eudora with narrowed eyes, skeptical of the female’s request. Eudora stood tall by his side and she side eyed him and hearing the brat say she would be pardoning the omegas and prisoners, they were on their best behavior today. She shouldered Malakai to get his attention to hear the young she wolf. Malakai growled a whisper to her “Why should I believe you?”

Eudora lifted her lips flashing her teeth at his disrespectful tone of voice. She tilted her head in a threatening way and eyeed the male up and down. She whispered “Because you owe me, Malakai.. You will do what I say.. Plus I have the secrets to unleash for the pack to divide.. Unless you want me to blab about what you did… Unless you give me your word to behave..” Malakai gave her an astonished look from her threat and sighed knowing he had to oblige to help her out. He whispered to her “Fine, I forget that you are an elder she wolf, that knows ‘everything’ better than I do..”

Eudora looked at him and shook her head in his sarcasm and barked “More than you’ll ever know.” She rose from her stiff posture to get up to take her part in decorating the beach. She left Malakai alone under his shade and made her way to the beach. Alone on her way and enjoying it. She will most likely enjoy her last day of being with the Druids in one way or another. Even if it is preparing for that brat’s ceremony, she needed her closure for the day.

He snarled as the she-wolf swept past him. I swear that she-wolf is as smart as a rock. He looked over to where Aatya had gone and saw Nikolai approaching her. "Nikolai!" He barked. "I need you on a hunting patrol with me before the ceremony. I have to get another wolf before we go, though." He made a steady lope to the forest and soon caught up to Eudora. "Hey," He barked. "I need you on a hunting patrol. Come!" He flicked his tail and padded back to camp, where the sunlight returned to his fur once more. He glanced over at Alari, still near Valdis's den. He whimpered at the thought of what he had done, but he couldn't worry to much right now. This hunt would make it up to her, he'd make sure of it. He'd pick out the biggest bull in the herd and come back to see the happy and surprised look on her face. Yes. He thought. She will be very pleased with me.

~ Orion ~ Male ~ Beorn ~ M: Alari, Malakai, Cognar, Aradia, Crag, Eudora
He nodded, and answered, "Yes alpha. Thank you alpha." She really was a nice wolf. She would be a powerful leader, he knew; she was very strong of spirit and had great potential. He thought about the way she had been acting this morning. She had been fairly calm and careful, and had even managed to give him a smile. Most wolves would have been scared and snappish. Either way, he turned around, off to find all those omegas and prisoners. This wasn't his favorite job, by far. Those wolves were mean mutts that hated most everyone and everything, as far as he could see. Anyway. Malakai was over there, apparently talking to Eudora. The prisoners were obviously in their den. What he didn't know was where Aradia was, and that meant he'd probably have to ask Malakai. She was probably sleeping, but he didn't want to check every single den to find her, risking both looking like an idiot and making the new alpha mad. He walked over to Malakai, waiting a respectful second for Eudora to leave. He knew that he was higher ranking than both of them, but that didn't mean that he had to quit being polite. He sat down before speaking, carefully leaving himself just a bit open to Malakai. Just to show that he was in charge, and not afraid. He spoke, his voice smooth. "Hello. I am here to take you and the prisoners out to help me set up for the alpha's ceremony. Where is Aradia?"

Cognar | Male | Prisoner | M: Malakai ; Crag ; Orion ; Aradia
The dark wolf stepped out of the prison den, letting the light come on to his fur but with most of his body still in the shadowy depths. He glared at Orion and then smirked at Malakai, then stepped out, revealing his large and intimidating figure. "Why, how kind of Alar—oops, sorry, the alpha?" He grinned at Malakai. "And why exactly this new change of heart, Orion? Hmm?" He took a few paces forward and glared at Orion with a suspicious look. His tail flicked behind him with a sense of curiosity and a note of irritation at the thought that they would think that he's stupid enough to believe this nonsense. "And uh," He coughed loudly. "Why has the alpha decided to... spare us?" He barked. "And why must we believe that YOU, out of all wolves, would let us out into the forest?" He said. He knew that Orion was probably uncomfortable and/or annoyed, but this was quite exactly what he wanted. "Well, come talk to me again when you have real news." His bold figure disappeared into the shadows of the prison when he looked back with his evil eyes and a wide grin. He snarled slightly and was swallowed up by the shadows of the den.
--------------------
--------------------
Crag | Male | Omega | M: Malakai ; Cognar ; Orion ; Aradia
As Cognar went back into his den, Crag stepped out of the thorn-sharp bushes, his skin almost untouched thanks to his fur. He appeared infront of Orion and right next to Malakai, almost in the exact same spot Cognar had been moments before. He dipped his head to Orion. "Give my thanks to the alpha please, Beorn." He may have known that Cognar thought this was a joke, but Crag knew that Alari had really given them a seond chance. Even if he was the only one that was probably going to behave himself. "I appreciate it deeply, Beorn" He said. He tail was low and his head down, showing his submission and cooperation to the upper rank. He glanced at Malakai who looked almost as if he was about to laugh at Crag then and there, but Crag didn't really care. The only reason he was Omega was because of his kindness, but now they had an alpha that didn't punish submission, but embraced it to show kindness. "I think Aradia is still asleep." He said to Orion. "I can go wake her if you wish." he grinned. Not evil grin like that of Cognar or Malakai, but an honest grin, of his true happiness that he felt inside.

These wolves and their orders. When would Nikolai even be able to get a moment to himself? Nikolai suppressed a snarl of annoyance, dipping his head apologetically at Aatya, before turning around and heading back once again to the den. Sol had long disappeared after Eudora, and Nikolai reluctantly trotted behind.
Really, where did Eclipse go? Nikolai couldn't see her anywhere, and briefly wondered what was she doing. She had already left when he had woken up, but where exactly was she?
Well, she could look after herself. Even though they were mates didn't mean that he was entitled to worry over her indefinitely.
Nikolai trotted faster after Sol, not fast enough to be catching up to him, but fast enough that he wouldn't be considered lagging behind. What did he think he was? What allowed him to behave so offhandedly to us? He was barely higher ranked than us. Nikolai supressed another snarl of annoyance. He had things to do, goddamnit, and he still hadn't eaten. And he was now being thrown around like a sack of chattel.
Nikolai, lost in his thoughts, barely noticed who was passing by him through the camp until he realised that Sol had turned around and was nearing him by the second, with poor Eudora in tow. Nikolai wondered who else would be pulled from their duty to do this hunting expedition.
What were they even doing here, anyway? What did Sol think he could gain out of acting like he was the Alpha? Did he think that he could gain the Alpha's hand in mate when he did this? If so, he was quite literally failing.
Nikolai reluctantly followed Sol as he blazed a path through the camp as if he was the one who owned it.
Brat.

Jarek | Male | Shakira | M: Ind: Everyone (See character name) Directly: Aradia,Orion,Cognar

The large golden brute sat by the beach already decorating the beach. He made the sand look like it has sketches of spirals and flowers from a stick in his jaws. He took his time with each line to make it look somewhat realistic, but a wolf could only do so much with his jaws. Alari the druids princess will become the queen of the druids. He had really no clue how he felt, other than what the outcome would be. Alari was the only living offspring of the former alpha pair and well it was very taboo for that to happen. Jarek was much spiritual and came to terms that she was meant to be. Though he did not know if her reign would last with the snakes that were in wolf pelts after her power. The alpha had some aura about her that made him safe, but respected her. She was more polite and reserved than the alpha’s before from what he could recall from the stories as a pup.

Jarek knew his job was done on his part, but he wanted more help at the beach. He was very much irritated from the lack of responsibility of the other wolves in the pack. Always trying to find a way out or wait to be ordered around like a pup. Some have to have the initiative to do a task without being told. Or was that just him? Nah, Jarek was just a great wolf that ceremonies had to be just perfect. Though he wanted this beach to look absolutely stunning with those two stunning wolves. Alari, that crept back in his mind as she was one of the smallest of the pack, but she had a way she walks with power and dominance. Her beauty was scorned from what other’s have recalled, her scars were striking that told a story. Her fur was alabaster with a gray mixture with her striking beautiful amber eyes. Though Jarek knew it will never be his girl or anything, but a friend. His place was already taken or being competed for by Sol. Jarek had no respect for that show off. He seemed so lusted over Alari that he loves the idea of Alari, but not her. He acts like she cannot take care of herself. Jarek knew with the context clues with her scarred body and face that she could handle her own. And he knows personally Alari hates when wolves defend her acting like she is weak. Though that’s one thing he has never seen Alari’s rage or even be mad. She was peaceful, but most calm wolves are the most lethal when pissed off.. Sol has no idea who she is and Jarek thinks he won’t like the idea of her after he’s seen her go off the deep end. Most likely most wolves won’t. Though he noticed Alari keeps her emotions pushed down and never takes anything out on others. It was just in a matter of time before she snaps.

He made his way back to the camp slowly still thinking to himself. Sol’s competition was Sik. The beta that was getting his ceremony alongside Alari. Those two have been glued to the hip since pups. They were the same age and very much balanced each out. Yes, Jarek was very much biased as Sik never ordered the wolves in such a rude manner like that ignorant Akashi. A great competition to have the mighty Alari. He will be enjoying the competition like most that think this is humorous.

He reached the camp hearing Orion asking where Aradia was. To Malakai the omega…. He rolled his eyes. Jarek thought he was stupid. He remarked “Beorn Orion, I think she would be in the prisoner’s den like she supposed to be? Like they are always supposed to be?”

He chuckled and tried to keep his balance on the rocky terrain. He tripped a bit from the loose gravel more than the other wolves did. Though he could not help it with his lack of tail. His stump of a tail that looked like deer tail from his accident. He went to retrieve the prisoners and found them both. He eyed Cognar and barked “Cognar, you may not trust any high-ranking. I heard them talking on my way in. They are pardoning you if you behave.. Please for this once, behave. And Malakai wanted to talk to you. He had something to ask or tell you? I don’t know.. Sorry I forgot what he said to me. Something about Eudora needs help with something or something.” His large shoulders shrugged at the wolf.

He then went to the she wolf sleeping. He nudged her gently with his nose. He barked “Miss Aradia, let’s get going, you have a chance to get pardoned. Unless you want I can cuddle and sleep right next to you and still be a prisoner. But orders are orders…”
