Tetsuya Kuroko-kun woke, the stench of burning flesh and wood clogging his senses. All around him, fire blazed up, threatening to swollow him whole. He let out a shout of agony as the tendrils flared up against his side, and dragged himself to his feet. He stumbled blindly, hoping... Praying..
Ahead, the silhouette of a wolf came into view. As Tetsu stumbled forward, he realized that the wolf's paws and tail... Were ablaze. Two strange red growths like horns stood out of her head in front of her ears, and her eyes were slitted and blood red. She cackled, and turned, running away from Tetsu as he tried so desperately to escape... He tripped, and stumbled, and dragged himself forward...
Until the flames consumed him.
Tetsuya Kuroko-kun has always been a bit of a mystery. No one knows where he came from, not even him. All he remembers is his name... And the dream. The dream of the burning forest and the female with fire in her pelt. He wears a golden chain around his neck, to which a small glowing blue gem is secured. His fur is actually tinted a pale blue, not the usual silver or grey of a wolf like him. And his eyes... His eyes are the exact color of the gem, a deep, unending blue like a cloudless sky. Most wolves don't even notice him. That is due to what he calls 'misdirection', which makes his presence seem to vanish. In truth, he simply moves his body and eyes to direct your attention elsewhere, giving the allusion of disappearing. Almost like a magic act. He truly is a mystery.
