ooh 0.0 well then, congrats first off. If I'd known I wouldn't have said ginger ^^' oops
I have a certificate in herbalism, and I'm mildly inclined to use that to help people when given the chance XD I can check some of my notes to see if I can find anything that might work better, if you want?
Of course ^^ ginger tea is great for mornings to help open your airways so you can breath. Chamomile is best for nights, mixed with abit of honey to help you sleep.
The spicy food thing is based more on how it makes your body temp rise which helps push the cold out, same function as a fever. But it isn't for everyone, so I don't often recommend it.
there's also the option to eat spicy foods, but I don't entirely recommend that option as depending on what kind of cold it could just make it worse. That and Ik not everyone is fond of spicy stuff
hot honey lemon water is defiantly a good option for colds, just don't take it too often as it will lessen it's potency I'd recommend green chamomile tea too, possibly if you have ginger tea that's great for mornings
