Biography
Omegas are often misunderstood to be the lowest ranking wolf in the pack due to the way wolves eat. In fact, Omegas are highly respected wolves that are high ranking. The Omegas job is to keep peace in the pack. While all the wolves are eating, the Omega will intimidate the other wolves like they're trying to steal their food. This helps the pack rotate while they eat and helps keep the wolves from fighting each other. The Omega is rewarded at the end of the eating session. Generally the Alpha or Beta will save high ranking meat for the Omega. The Omega often initiates play with other wolves in the pack, they will help prevent fights between two wolves by lowering themselves to look smaller and lick the wolves faces to help calm them down.
