In the spring, Owl and her brother Snow were born to a huntress named Mist and an outlander male. In the winter of her year as a juvenile, she made her first kill, a copperhead. In the spring, she found bronze shards under a bush. In the fall of Owl's first year as an adult, the pack moved from the swamp to the jungle. She had a close escape from a herd of okapi in the fall. In the summer, Owl found 10 mushrooms. In the fall, Owl became the first wolf of Talen Pack to kill a death adder. In the winter of her sixth year, she bore Glacier by an outlander male named Xerxes. In the spring, she became the first wolf of Talen pack to kill a green python. In the winter of their eighth year, Snow left the pack to start his own. In the spring, Owl became the first wolf of Talen pack to kill a bongo. That month, she led the pack in a run alongside the spirit of Silver Rain and then found 10 mushrooms. Next month, she led the hunters in another run alongside the spirits of Call and Kal. In the fall of her ninth year, she produced Smoke and Ash by an outlander named Rogue. Later that season, she became the first wolf of Talen pack to kill a bandicoot. In the fall, Owl led the pack in a run alongside the spirit of Silver Fang. In the spring, she found a jade monkey. In the fall of her eighteenth year, she became the first wolf of Talen pack to kill an axeman. Owl produced North by Zenit that season. Next fall, she was guided by the spirit of Call to help the pack find a new home in the desert since they had just moved from the jungle. In the fall, Owl became the first wolf of Talen Pack to try to kill a gopher. Next summer, she became the first wolf of Talen Pack to kill a Bactrian camel.
