The morning sun flooded the large den with it's light, and one stray beam managed to rest on Kerri's still body. Slowly, a pair of heterochromatic blue-brown eyes opened. It blinked a few times, trying to get adjusted to the bright light. Once that was done, a loud yawn escaped from her mouth. She slowly stood up, gave a good, long stretch, and then shook off the dirt that had caked her fur.
Kerri padded out of the entrance of her den. Her stomach rumbled and her throat felt dry after her sleep. She went to ithe den's side, and dug up a dead pheasant. She tore the meat hungrily, and it wasn't until she had eaten three pheasants that she finally started to feel full. To cure her dry throat,she went to a river near her den and drank up the refreshing, cold water, which not only cured her dry throat, but also quenched her thirst.
Kerri sat down by the riverbank, staring at her distorted reflection. She was not admiring herself. She was staring at it because she had nothing else to do, and she had no idea whatsoever what she should do. As she stared at her election, she was hoping to find some inspiration of what to do next. But sadly, nothing, not even a single idea, popped into her mind. Yet a wolf from her past entered her mind soon after a while.
Fenriel was her childhood friend but when the alphas died of her pack she became alpha and mates with him now she with wait happily for his pups to be born.
Now that her love is dead she will step down the rank waiting to choose a new luna as a alpha was already chosen, she will treasure her last pup with her as it is the only thing to remember her mate fenriel
