Biography
The Shadows moved quietly through the forest, their paw steps never to be heard. Star watched with drooping ears, she didn't want to be quiet, she wanted to shine. Sighing, she padded into the forest depressed. She had walked quite a bit before she realized that she was no longer on Shadow territory. In front of her was a beautiful golden meadow. Walking into it, she could see a herd of deer peacefully eating and sparrows feeding on seeds. Everything was peaceful.
She stayed in the golden meadow for a long while. An hour before night, she saw shapes moving on the other side of the meadow. Slinking into the woods, she watched as a beautiful female came out of the woods with a piebald male. Behind them stalked a variety of different colors and patterns on wolves. She watched in awe silence before she let out a gasp shocked. A pure black male like her had stepped out of the brush. He looked just like The Shadows of her pack and yet...there was something different. He moved fluently with the pack, not keeping to the shadows like she was supposed to.
Star watched as he joined the pack in the hunt towards the deer herd. The pure black male stayed nowhere near the shadows but moved fluently through the pack. The females took to the sides before splitting at least three deer off from the herd. From there, the females fell back as the males bolted forward, catching up to the herd faster than a normal pack. She watched in awe as the male lunged forward, killing a doe instantly as the others attacked. The deer were felled in only a couple of moments.
Star watched before hearing a voice behind her, "Hello there. You have strayed into the Fangs of Fire territory. What might you need?" She whirled around to see a white female with black stripes. "I-I. .I didn't know. I was just walking and lo-lost my way." Star stammered, looking at the female's beautiful patterns. "I am SnowAngel of the Fangs of Fire Pack. Would you like me to show you the way home?" The female said and Star was about to say yes when she stopped. "Why do you hesitate?" SnowAngel asked, cocking her head. "I don't want to run in the shadows, I want to be myself and let everyone see." Star lowered her head respectfully before asking, "May I join your pack?"
SnowAngel perked up before responding with a smile, "Of course. It will take a bit to learn your rank but we welcome everyone. What might your name be?" Star looked up before looking back the forest. She didn't want to leave everything behind but also wanted something new. "My name is. . StarShadow." She said, standing up tall. "Well StarShadow, follow me. Let's go meet the alpha shall we?" SnowAngel said, starting for the small hunting party on the other side of the meadow. StarShadow took one look back at the dreary forest before saying quietly to herself, "Yes, we shall."
