It was many moons ago when I was killed by the mountain's fiery glow my fur once pure untouched by ash now covered in it
I remember the day's before when I was not afraid of the mountain it gave us life but soon it took it from us
the ash it fell so fast running down the side.
I was trying to help the elders sadly I was the one left behind as the older wolves I told them to go, that I would be right behind.
I know the pack mourns me my mate sorry I died carrying your pups, that will never see the sun's light or know the gift of life.
I was three at the time but I knew it was the way of life my fate was sealed when I was but a pup named Vulcanqa.
I know what I brought my lover I'm sorry I left you to fend all alone I still watch you with the pups I never had born in the land of those gone.
