Biography With a grunt Jace rose to his full hight once again and set a slow pace across the clearing, he walked fairly close past the silky black furred female paying her no heed, he walked on.
His ears flicked picking up the sounds of the forest that surrounded them, his green orbs passing over everything around him whilst his banner which he held at a quietly confident hight swayed in his wake.
He turned glancing back at the wolves in the clearing before once again drifting off into the shadows without even so much as a glance at the pile of fish.
Jace picked up the pace to a lazy trot as the distance between him and the clearing grew, now alone he moved freely his dark mottled coat rippling over his lythe but nicely muscled form.
As the daylight began to dim he slowly picked his way back up the rise from whence he'd came before the howl, his muscles rippling under his coat as he quietly wound between rocks and boulders of steadily increasing size.
In short time he reached the crest of the rise heading towards a large flat rock that was wedged nicely into the hillside looking down upon the valley below, he slumped down upon it letting the warmth that it had been imbued with from the days sunlight seep into him as he gazed out over forest.
Jace sighed flicking his right ear and turning his head to look at a particularly large boulder he sighed "I can smell that fish from here, come out female don't lurk in the dark which I assume your so fond of doing" his masculine tone seemed tired as his shielded green eyes stayed upon the boulder "you've followed me since the clearing.. why?"
The large male made no move to stand or do anything infact, he just waited, calmly with a strange air of patience.
Jace watched as the silky black female gracefully emerged From behind the boulder and dropped the fish at his paws, he dipped his head in thanks, wondering what her reason could be behind bringing it, she didn't seem like the type of she wolf to care for other wolves wellbeing but he thanked her all the same.
"Ah so I'm your prey..?" He gave a small calm smile as his green eyes locked with her's, his steady and unflinching against her smouldering orange eyes.
"What in particular spikes your curiosity?" His head tilted slightly as he assessed her form himself Jace gave a soft chuckle as she smiled, his tail slightly flicked once then resumed it's still state against his side. "Ah well guess I'll just have to wait and see what I become won't I?" he shrugged slightly seeming not to be affected by her comments in the slightest, he turned his head gazing out over the swiftly darkening valley and sighed quietly.
"When you know what spikes your curiosity do say" he lowered his head nosing the fish "you still hungry at all?" He questioned in his mellow masculine tone as his gaze once again swiveled back to meet hers. Jace gave a heartfelt chuckle this time "aye hunts do take a bit of time, at least.." he paused giving her a small wink "the ones that are fun take a bit of time" he gave a slightly sly smile.
The large male sat up leaving the warmth of the rock "oh I think I'll survive for awhile yet, you seem to like playing with your prey" he finished he sentence as he bent picking up the fish and moving over to her placing it down softly "you need it more than I do.. even if you won't admit it" he spoke his tone suddenly quite soft, his green eyes meeting hers for a mere moment before he returned to the spot where he'd been settled.
Jace lifted his green orbs to the sky as one by one the stars began to unveil themselves. Down in the valley fireflies began to wake looking like tiny suns lazily flying through the grass.
Jace drew his mischievous gaze back to her a grin splitting his own maw as his tail softly thudded against the rock beneath them "oh of course savoring the process is what it's all about.." he chuckled slyly "one little tasty morsel at a time".
He laughed at her last statement "oh I couldn't disappoint the lady now could I?" He obligingly took the larger morsel and ate it, all jokes aside he was happy at least that he'd managed to get her to eat even a little something.
"I'll have to make sure I feast on anything that moves" his gaze traveled back to hers with that statement before he chuckled softly shaking his head "least then she'd get a decent meal" his tone grew softer as he came to his last word, looking at her momentarily then glancing away his eyes hiding emotions.

Special Skills He huffed quietly watching the rolling waves "I am drawn to it for comfort and reassurance, it is a reminder that no matter how chaotic life may be these tides continue to ebb and flow, with no mind to any conflicts or chaos that happen between wolf and wolf or any other thing... They just go on and on.. continuing as always" Jace fell into the quietness of thought, frowning slightly at the waves which were slowly but surely working their way further and further up the beach.
