Biography
Bastian grew up with the Summercrest pack, but once he reached adulthood, he chose to leave due to differences of opinion with the pack leader. Rather than fight with him and disrupt the pack, or challenge him for leadership, he chose to leave.

He lived as a lone wolf for a while, but when he saw a pair of wolves struggling to bring down a deer, he helped them. After a successful hunt, they ran together for a while, and friendships formed between them. Being older than the mated pair, he acted as a mentor to them both. And after a few seasons passed, and they asked him to join their pack officially, he jumped at the chance.
