Seven & eleven
I ran faster and faster, the cold wind blowing against my fur as if it was fueling my energy more. 'Run! Run! Run! Faster!' My thoughts rang out, I obeyed and pushed on harder and harder through the thick flurry of snow. My paws were freezing but I pushed the feeling aside.
'Wait! Stop!' The other voice spoke to me, I immediately skidded to a stop, sending up a flurry of snow in front of me from my abrupt stop. "What is it?! Why'd I stop?" I shouted out to no one. "Because I smell something!" Eleven answered me with a sneer. "Eww. I smell other wolves." Eleven added with a growl and disgusted look. "Ooh! Yay! Company!" I replied with a large grin.
So I continued on, through the pack borders. Stopping quickly I checked my paw pads and licked them, they were sore and bleeding from running in the snow, I definitely had frostbite. Continuing on I looked behind myself and noticed the paw marks of blood with a grunt. I shook my large cranium and continued on, sniffing as much as I could for any scent of a wolf.
Finally, someone answered my silent prayers and noticed me. They came over growling and snarling. "Why are you here? What do you want?" They asked with yet another snarl. "Umm, I'm sorry but I was running along and we smelled a pack, it smelt familiar." I replied with a tilt of my head. The wolf looked around dumbfounded for a moment and looked at me confused. "We? You're here with someone?"
Moments passed and I explained how I was here with my partner Eleven, he even introduced himself! Then the wolf asked what my name was. "Sleven!" We both said at once. My name was now Sleven. The wolf shook it'd head confused and nodded. "Fine, Sleven. Come with me."
As I followed the wolf through the territory the other wolves looked at me and Eleven talking to each other. What? Have they never seen two wolves have a conversation or something? I ignored them and continued my chat with Eleven.
Once we reached the alpha's den the scent became more and more familiar. "So your name is Sleven?" He asked me and I nodded. "I'm Seven, and this is Eleven, but were just Sleven." I told him, he looked confused but nodded. "You realize that no one is next to you right?" The male said to me. I shook my head firmly. "No, he's right here." I told him with a confused look.
Was I really alone?
No. Eleven and I are always together.
