Biography The sun warms up my coat, making me feel drowsy. The soft forest sounds and the gentle gurgling of the stream wrap me in peace. I can close my eyes, and see the beauty of the world, of my home. But every now and then, as I am about to fall into the land of dreams, I remember...
I was born at the start of a long bloody war between two packs. As a pup, fighting was exciting, new and wondrous. But the day that I saw my father leave for battle and never return, was the day I stopped being that pup.
My mother followed the same fate shortly thereafter and I was left on my own. I began my training, determined to help my pack in the face of this danger that had been strong enough to take away my parents. I trained long and hard, by myself, with other pups and juveniles, with the battle veterans. When I reached the age of 2, I was ready.
My first battle was horrible. The packed dirt ground was hard and unforgiving. It was stained red with the blood of countless wolves. The struggling mass of bodies was overwhelming. There was no room to fight, you didn't know if you clawed friend or foe. A winner was undetermined by the time everyone was too weak to lift a paw. Slowly, we stumbled back to our pack mates, our fighting force cut in half.
For the next few years, these battles were all I knew. Some were short, easy to win or lose. Some were long, where no winner was determined. But all cost us. Every single battle took blood and more often than not, a life. My world became dark and stained with red, hidden in shadows, fed by savagery and hatred. Anticipation was often present in my bones.
When I turned eight, both packs were having trouble surviving. Hunting was hard, exploring was worse and moving was too much to ask of ourselves. I decided that I had been at the forefront of this war for long enough. I had championed my pack for longer than I expected to live at all. It was time for me to move on. And as it was, the war ended. The packs joined forces in order to survive the winter. Enemies became brothers and sisters. And so when the first hint of spring appeared, I left, knowing that my pack would survive.
During my ninth year, I explored multiple areas. I found peace, beauty, everything that was the opposite of war. Everything that was denied before to me, was now being found. The year passed quickly, and when I reached ten, I found a new home. The Misaki Pack.

| Personality Spartacus was the stud of the litter once he out-grew his pack and was able to stand on his own four legs. He courted more than a pawful of females, many of the coming back the following spring in the hopes of receiving one of his marvellous markings carry on into their litter, but as he matured, he began to search for a more permanent lifestyle after the war broke out, that was when he stumbled upon The Misaki Pack.
They allowed him to stay, offering her a permanent placing and a peaceful memorial dedicated to him on the day that he passed, in recognition of his work in protecting the boarders.
Now, as an elderly male, Spartacus lounges about and has a laid-back personality. If he catches pups doing something they shouldn't he'll give them a fright, but doesn't inform the alpha pair about it as the pups don't return to whatever it was they were doing.
Preferences Spartacus prefers to sit with a straight posture because he is a retired war veteran. It he gets down too low he fears he'll never be able to get back up again with age coming over him. He's nearing his 20th birthday and knows his tome is drawing to a close. This makes Spartacus live life at the fullest. He makes sure everyone is happy and content in their places.
Because he was once a loyal protecter of the pack, he's trusted to place input in on the way Miyako should run the pack. He was also good friends with Misaki and at times became a little over-protective of her when Fenrir came to visit her in the absence of Hayato.
Miyako adores him, she looks up to him as though he were her great great grandfather.
Spartacus has vowed to protect Miyako for as long as he can, as Misaki had been very kind to him over the years. "I will put my life on the line to save the royal blood." He promised Misaki in the den on the night of the birth of Miyako, Hayame and Hayako.
Special Skills Spartacus's skills are varied depending on what it is he is doing.
If he's hunting, he is stealthy, agile and fast, even if it is a little hard on his joints as an elderly male.
It he's involved with pack play, he has a gentle demeanour, with softer bites.
If he's simply discussing something that the pack needs to do he'll become the serious one. Many of the younger pups to not like his because of this side to him, but they respect him because they know he's ranked above the alpha pair because of his age.
