Biography
Bear Spirit is a strong battler in the pack. Related to Fighting Bear, she is one of the only wolves in the pack to still have their founding female in her bloodlines. Other than the Alpha Male, Bear Claw, she is the only one to carry her blood.
Bear Spirit is one of the most skilled battlers in the pack. She trained hard to be where she is now. When she was first born, she was the only wolf in the pack to have Fighting Bear's bloodlines. This meant that she was next in line to be Alpha female. However, about two years after Spirit was born, A young male named Bear Claw was born into the pack. He also shared Fighting Bear's blood. And being a male, that meant that he automatically surpassed Spirit and became the next heir.
This angered Spirit. She had been looking forward all her life to being the next alpha, and then this little pup comes along and ruins it. She lost the chance to be Alpha Female, all because Bear Claw was male. For a while, she considered leaving the pack and finding a mate and then starting a pack of her own. But after thinking it over, she decided that it was unfair and rather immature and childish of her to leave just because she didn't get her way. Besides that, her family was here; this was where she born. Despite the fact that she might not get to be leader some day, this was still her pack.
With that in mind, Spirit decided that, since she couldn't be leader, she would serve her pack in the next best way by becoming the best battler in the pack. She was a big, muscular wolf, which made her perfect for battling. She trained hard, all day and night. She constantly worked, and it wasn't long before she had achieved her dream. No one was better than her.
By the time she reached her goal, the current Alpha Male had become old and sick. It wasn't long before he died, and Bear Claw and his mate Unbalanced Gravity took over the pack. Instead of feeling anger or jealousy towards the two and wishing that it were her up there on that rock instead of them, she cheered them on with the rest of the pack with genuine happiness. Despite the fact that he had stolen Alphahood from right under her paws, Spirit knew that Bear Claw and his mate would take care of the pack.
Not long after he became Alpha, Bear Claw recognized Spirit for her tremendous skills in battle. To reward her for all of her hard work, he made her the first official Head Battle Wolf. As the Head Battle Wolf, she would be in charge of all the battlers. Spirit was proud of herself. Although she hadn't become Alpha like she had dreamed of being as a pup, she had succeeded in serving her pack the best she could. And in the end, Spirit realized that that's all she ever wanted in the first place.
