Fallen Dreams

A dream is constructed by the wants of the mind

It can render the dreamer blind

When reality comes in for a smack to the face

The dream must be displaced

Throughout the years more dreams must be deemed fictional

To be replaced by the rational

Causing the dreams to fall apart at the seams.

It's simple to construct a mask

The holding it in place is the task

The truth is not easy to hide

But with the right pride

One can take the world in stride

While safely behind the barriers set in one's mind

Can evil be forgiven?

Most think it can only be hidden

I think they may be right

For the halo does not quite

Hide the bloodstains

That should have put me in chains

It’s easy to let them pass your lips

Yet, hard to not have any slips

The more you spin

The deeper the hole you will be in

Making it easier to have none

However, it is a lot less fun

Hysterical ramblings about existence

A meeting with a ghost that creates destruction

Mocking insanity at first, later having true disturbance

Lining up a scheme that generates a theatrical production

Erasing the corrupt with a dramatic flare

That results in the death of the heir
