flo, try living in the touristy city :') prices are adjusted for german salaries because of german tourists, and us common folk living here on our croatian, 1/3 of german paychecks? haha irrelevant~ using germans as example because its a meme at this point how everyone has at least three family members that left for germany in search of better life actual quote from our prime minister from few years back: "the people live well, they just arent aware of it"

BuggyOs, Parents play too much knowing what they do is illegal and also just morally wrong. This stuff is too common. I also have four separate friends whose parents did that to them. I'm glad your partner made it out of there. Consider sueing the mother to death.

Caesar, Why focus on tourism when the government exists in the first place because of its people? This never makes sense to me. Every place can be pretty if it it's taken care of, no landscape most people live on is that unique or special. I love to travel when I can, but I hate going to touristy places. I rather spend time in the local businesses and common spaces.

Flue that sounds like my partner... their mom took half of their paychecks for rent, then would constantly ask for more and if they didn't pay, the electric or water bills wouldn't get paid so they had to choose between paying the bills or saving to move out. They live with me and my parents now though

flo, i would not compare us to austria culture wise ^^" but its not just that for prices, its the fact that we've had the worst government for like a decade now, they basically destroyed all our production industries and only invested in tourism, plus made sure to send our people away and get outsiders to purchase land :')

Lady, Yes, that exactly! My partner's dad is the embodiment of that. Started taking "rent" from my partner when he was 16 working at a Subway. Parents are required by law to provide shelter, food, and clothes to their offspring until 18. His dad financially abused him and then goes on tirades about how my partner keeps "splurging." Brother, you kept taking all his checks so now he doesn't live with you he's going to mess up and spend his entire check on a game system because you didn't teach him financial responsibility or let him have fun.

Florence It just sucks because the whole of the US expects you to move out as soon as you hit 18 but make it as impossible as they can unless you are born into money.

Lady, Word. Don't feel too bad, though, my sister and her two daughters keep having to move back in with my mom and two other siblings. My uncle who is 60 and his kids keeps moving back in, too, because of his health issues.

Florence I'm 25 and living with my parents. I hate it. If it weren't for the fact that I have a dog and fish, I would have lived out of my Tahoe by now. I could work in Ohio or Michigan which both have arguably better income when it comes to jobs but it makes taxes a nightmare. Every year, you will owe money to the state of Indiana for taxes.

Skai ah, okay. Maryland's minimum wage is 15, but PA's is closer to federal :/ I'm lucky I live with my parents still

Also just a heads up guys, if there's a separate draw for each raffle, in the case you win you get one item for each ticket you purchase. This means if there are more items than entries some items will not be won. If there's a raffle with several mid items and only one or two good items, and you can't purchase enough tickets to guarantee covering that good item, it's not worth entering
