Rosemary, I think the vast majority of people could be a lil overwhelmed by Jacques haha so that's fair 😂 Overall I think your idea is perfect, considering Jacques is a bit of a rolling stone himself and never really with one group or person for too long so he would understand the departure quite well.

Meander, like with Hana lol it's likely Jacques has at least heard of your girlie - if they haven't interacted in person then it's possible he's just been fed vague info from the group he's been rolling with, etc, since he's only been a part of the entertainment trade for a few months. He's definitely not a career theatre kid like your and Rosemary's girls though haha, more so a Jacques-of-all-trades who's in consistent search of a person or group to follow and fit indefinitely with and has just so happen fallen into his entertainment era lol

Ah good to know, love that for him lol. Perhaps she's just come across his group and not him, then. At the very least I reckon she's probably got a bit of a reputation amongst travelling entertainers because she causes so many problems for everyone, but I'd say she's probably crossed paths with his group at least once or twice in the past!

thank you! You saved me quite a bit of trouble, I'm not a fan of research, I can never figure out what key words are the best to use. I also choose something that's just slightly off, just enough for me to not get the answers I want right off the bat.

I think it would be great if at first they kept missing each other, and then Líadan unintentionally gets Hana in trouble for the reason you named. So Hana starts to get all annoyed, like who is this stranger that's making life harder? Then one day she strolls into a town, having a fun time performing, and here comes this random person who can do all her tricks. So they start getting more outlandish, amazing the crowd, and although Hana is at first annoyed at the challenge, especially since she's already unhappy because of all the trouble someone she hasn't met yet is giving her, she realizes how much fun this is, and starts to enjoy it. So after they're done with the performance, she decides to be friendly and have a conversation with her, and then she realizes this is the person that's been making towns treat her less kindly! And of course she isn't happy about it, but this stranger is fun, and fun is one of the best things in life. So she says as payment, Líadan owes her fun. And that's how the bit is born, every time they meet they have to do something fun. And that is usually trying to entertain any bystanders by their antics.
