Ah, it's not necessarily a challenge as much as it is that I'm just more used to writing spiteful characters than happy ones. Plus, writing a happy character (especially one who pushes anything bad that happens to them from their mind) in a traumatizing situation and still being able to get across the personality is harder, in general, than writing someone who's already down on their luck going through one. He's fun to write, still; just a matter of experience with the character types, mostly.

Ah, by the way, for the sake of my own ability to still interact with people while isolating her behind a wall of zombies, let's say that Ataeia is in a male bathroom opposite some other set of characters. Which character(s) she's opposite to is up to you. Either way, someone's gonna hear her kicking the wall.

I'll have Jabari go into Ataeia's bathroom. Follow the leader. She actually tried to help, AND it's the male's bathroom, and he's a bit of a rule follower lol

Yeah, that checks out. Following the first person to show you kindness in a situation like this makes sense. It'd probably help Ataeia out of her rut a bit, too, to see Jabari's still alive.

TIAPN How many stalls is the bathroom Ataeia went in? Did she lock the door?

Uhhhhh, let's say 10 because I don't remember what the average stall count is, and no, she didn't lock the door.
