I'm not actually sure if the space hub is on a planet - I'd assume it's kinda just like a space station and is orbitting around something - I'm sure Vah can confirm/deny. I don't think we've actually worked that out yet :0

As for night and day, if they're not on a planet that would just be based on clocks :0 I'm sure there's quite a lot of them dotted around, or a lot of the lights on the ship/hub are on a timer or something. It would certainly explain why so many of our pirates have sleep issues though, LOL

At the moment, everyone is at the main hub/base, not on a ship :0 if I recall correctly, anyway.

Dan will periodically show up to check on everyone, he has no desire to live onboard with the pirates LOL. He likely catches a lift with the trading ships that come through the area :0

There's two different things.
there's the Galaxy where they stay and I figured that's on a planet of sorts. Then there's the ship, which is the wooden floating ship. Usually this is used to return cargo.

The trading floating hub is kind of just there. Because it can be.
