Yep, you will do your coloring on the "color here" layer, which needs to be set to "multiply" for blending mode, and also needs Lock Alpha (in Krita i think they call it Alpha Lock?) on.

The effects layers are all blank; you have to draw your own effects, if that's something you want to add on

Dreamer's Wyrd is the same base as the Dreamers wings -- i just hand painted special effects to customize them ;3

Zephyr's Wings probably won't be released to the public as the process for recoloring them is way too complicated-- i do a lot of individual layer edits and fussy work on that one, and it's not formatted to be an easily usable grayscale. I do plan to make and share more wings though :D

I usually use Procreate these days. I've used a lot of different programs over the years.

that said, i really don't have the time to teach you how to use the program step by step and what every tool does, and i'm not familiar enough wih Krita to give clear instructions ;w;'

i can however encourage you to watch tutorials and speed paints / drawing and photo manipulation time lapses, because you will learn a lot about how to navigate and make use of the different layers.

i learn a lot by just trying out every single tool in any new program i start, and also reading their help guides and reading tool tips if the program has those.
