We all know that it gets better later on, but I'm talking about the really low levels.

Which do you think would be worse in the lower levels - low-level Swamp, or low-level Desert?

Desert is horrible at the lower levels, swamp you at least get blue jay feathers but desert there's no helpful items in my opinion. On the higher levels both can be pretty good but low level desert is way worse than low level swamp.
