Name Gahiji; Translates to, "The hunter" Age 3 years Gender Lioness/Female Rank Hunteress Desired Rank She is content for the moment, focused on doing anything the pride needs. Not sure if she herself is interested in a raise in rank. Appearance Stock (c) go to robbobert on DA! An elegant but muscular build makes Gahiji look powerful. This lioness is on the shorter side of lionesses all-round, Gahiji only stands 3.1 at the shoulder. But her smaller stature makes it easier to not be seen by prey when hunting, surprisingly Gahiji is quite muscular. Not like she could 100% totally win a fight with one of the other females, nonetheless a pride male, but she is strong enough built to be able to help the other huntresses take down larger prey. Gahiji is also surprisingly not that light like you would probably think she was...but Gahiji weighs a fair weight of 315.9 lbs. Gahiji's undercoat is a light, smooth cream color that gets a bit darker going up. Her side and back coloration are one of a normal-looking female, a darker tan, with a few small light cream patches that seem to blend into the sand-colored coat. Going down to this female's legs and paws, there are darker, almost stripes that are scattered around...but neatly. The "stripes" are an even darker tan than Gahiji's upper body coat color. Finally, Gahiji has quite a simple tail, it is almost as long as her body which is 4.6 ft long. To be exact though, her tail is 3.9 ft long. Gahiji's eyes are one of the few pieces of her appearance that somewhat stand out. They both are a dark golden color, but if you look closely there is some sort of ombre effect going closer to the pupil. Her eyes are darker on the outside and get lighter, almost white... Gahiji has a single stripe going from each f her eyes to her snout, like most lionesses, and her muzzle is white around her mouth. This lioness's appearance may be a bit bland but she is still stunning to look at. Personality When first interacting with Gahiji, she is shy...quiet, and un-eager for attention. She doesn't want to be in the spotlight, if you try to praise her, she gets embarrassed and most likely will try and go somewhere more "quiet". Gahiji will still act like this with other lions she trusts and cares for, she just...doesn't like it, and give it to someone else. Gahiji likes to keep to herself, never really "getting out there", she will play and chat with younger lions, mostly cubs. She feels they are easier to talk to. Gahiji seems to see the good in literally everything, being quiet doesn't mean she can't encourage others when they are feeling...strong emotions. She loves being a lioness that others can come to if they need to talk, vent, or just be quiet around with the thought that she is helping in some way. Gahiji will do anything for the pride, she is extremely loyal, and she would die for the pride if it meant they were unharmed and safe. She would never be the one to be called cruel, greedy, selfish, or unhelpful. Because she is the opposite of all of those, Gahiji just wants everything and everyone to be happy, and feel like they are safe. Some downsides that this lioness has though, the first is that she is extremely impatient. This totally doesn't help when hunting, she is always the one to keep bugging everyone for when to pounce and attack. Another downside, Gahiji doesn't understand when to stop herself, yes yes, I said before that she doesn't like or want attention, but if she sees something she wants she won't hesitate to win it over, this includes males. He is muscular and handsome, showing strength and dominance in each step he takes, just to assure the other males know who's boss around here. He also tries to show dominance in his facial expressions. He has brown eyes, small ears, and a powerful jaw for strangling his foes to death. His teeth are yellow, but sharp and dangerous, well like all lions! His mane has an orange color at the start, and slowly fades to a really dark brown, some may confuse it with black. Kiburi has a very bulky body, his muscle rippling under his thin and short tan fur at each step he takes. His legs are muscular and strong, and his paws are big, but hold deadly sharp razor blades for shredding through prey and enemy males. ~ Personality: Lazy | Flirty | Bold | Strong | Tough | Dominant | Thoughtful | Cautious | Alert | Trusts Only Someone Close To Him Kiburi might look like a big, tough, heroic, and handsome male, but no. He's terribly lazy, and sits under shade all day long and is not something you want to interrupt napping unless you're asking for a scratch on your face. Kiburi is a very flirtatious lion, always trying to take all the females for himself. He will not allow anyone to take a female he likes under any circumstances, even if they are someone really close to him that he's known forever. Kiburi is a bold male, never turning down a challenge. He will fight for his dominance and to make sure he gets his name around the savannah, trying to make him and his pride feared by many others. To scare the challengers away from his territory. Kiburi is strong and ferocious, often likes to be called the dominant king by his pride, even though he is not. He is strong and enjoys destroying his foes, at least, when they are weak. He will always defend his pride from any dangerous rogue males or prides, but his secret fear is... Lots of hyenas! Their bone-breaking bites could easily kill him, and he knows that, so that's why he's afraid of them. Kiburi tries to be dominant over the other males, and will not hesitate to fight for his dominance. He likes to be dominant because then, maybe more females will be attracted to him..? ~ Kiburi is alert and cautious, listening to every sound around him in case of an ambush by rogue males, only trusting those who he's known for a long time. He normally will not be able to hear if another lion is stalking him, but hey, his cautiousness helps sometimes. ~ Crush: None. Mate: He'd like one, but there's so many options! Offspring: None yet.
