Akuryō Yamishinigami | M | Dark Dragon | Mentions: Other Dragons (ind.) , Valencia

The young dragon had curled himself neatly within the confined area of his cell. He was still stewing in his anger at being caught by these pathetic humans . He was not happy about being here , that's when he heard the annoying voice of one of the teachers . It seems that she was bringing the humans here to bond with them, and he felt the beginning of a growl come from his throat. Who would be stupid enough to approach his stable ? He just wanted to be left alone, and he closed his eyes. Hopefully, he could get some shut eye for a little while. But that's when he felt a disturbance - he was being watched . And he opened his eyes, annoyed , open to be met with the wide eyed stare of a young woman. As he appraised the other humans, he assessed that she was stronger than most of them - her posture spoke that of a warrior while the others seemed a bit soft or unpolished .

He was now intrigued by this human girl. He decided to grace her with his appearance , his scales rustled as he moved, the rubbing mimicking the sound of a saw-scaled viper the sound rasping as he moved . His large head peered over the gate, his molten colored eyes on her - watching and observing her. He fanned the feathers along his face , the feathers rattling slightly. He bobbed his head unconsciously , blinking slowly at her . And then turned his head at an unnatural angle.

" The humans send us their whelp ? " he said, his voice distorted and echoey , " how amusing . " and he caught the words of another fleshy human. One that was demanding Rhyhor , and he narrowed his eyes at the pompous brat . " It seems that humans have lost their sense of self preservation. Greedy, vile creatures you are - always looking out for your own gain and waging wars for what you think is yours. Not realizing that your greed is your undoing, nations and civilizations undone by this selfishness. And now, you demand the help of us dragons to wage your bloody wars - how laughable . "

" I don't like humans, don't like their arrogance and greedy nature . You think you're at the top of the food chain when you're just a mere speck in this universe . " he scoffed as he looks at the young woman before him , " you at least seem to be more capable than the rest of the group here , yet - " he paused momentarily, twisting his head , his eyes boring into her as if staring into her very soul, "fear and death loom like a thick blanket over you child. It eats away at you , will you let it consume you ? I wonder , how truly strong you are . " he added with a slight hiss in his voice .

He had to cackle boldly at the discipline that Rhyhor had enacted upon his brat of a human, who seemed to be arguing with another who was peeved. Humans and their drama. It seemed one or two humans had the sense to respect their dragons properly, and had forged a bond. But he wouldn't be so easily sway , his own power would be shared with this human along with his lifespan. His throat glowed a deep violet , burning and aching to set something to flames , but instead he held his head proudly, glaring down at the female with the authority of something ancient .

" So tell me, urchin. " he spoke solemnly, a slight sneer in his voice , " why should you have the honor to the one bound to me ? " he then let his flames glow around his mouth, the purple wispy flames dancing around his maw , giving him an eerie look.

Tadashi Akiyama | 21 | M | Mentions: Illinto {dir}

"R-Right-! No-! Of course not! Believe me, nobody is more grateful than I am for that...! You're... W-Well, I'm sure you're damn wonderful...! I hope-" He cursed internally at how his voice stammered out the words, his lips quivering as he forced a goofy and lopsided grin through the nerves that were screaming at him to turn tail and run as far away from this death nest of an academy as physically possible.

His fingers twitched back a little, almost hesitant as he regarded Illinto with a heavy amount of caution, before sucking in a sharp breath as he reached out, letting his fingers brush along scales of her snout.

Now, sure.

He'd had his fair share of horse kicks, falling from trees, even the occasional bite from the wildlife. But nothing in all his years of existence could've prepared him for the absolutely excruciatingly agonizing pain that tore its way through his senses.

For a moment, oxygen seemed so much less important in the face of the feeling, his muscles seizing as he forgot the simplest behaviors of breathing or blinking.

The waves of pain washed over him, growing in intensity so vastly it nearly knocked him off balance entirely...

Until it began to ease into a light, gentle throb, more of an annoying discomfort than life threatening pain. His knees felt weak as he managed to regain some of his senses, bringing his hand back quickly as the colour seemed to drain further from his face.

His lines of jokes always came to him with such ease, but in that moment, staring at the imposing form of Illinto beyond the bars, he found his tongue heavier than lead and his brain oddly silent for once aside from the slight fuzziness that had now settled.

Even so... That experience didn't seem all that one sided... His own feelings were tampered down as he took the smallest, shakiest step towards the stable bars, his golden eyes carrying a small hint of concern as he looked over the dragon before him.

"...Well... T-That was certainly... Something. Illinto...? You... Still with us?" He managed to ask with the smallest breath that almost resembled a breathless chuckle, trying to shake off the entire intensity of the situation, his voice barely able to rise above a whisper.
