Lyka|F|Fire Leader|Power- Animal Shifter, Fire controller|M: Open I open the door, and walk in in human form, surprised to see his shirt off. He looks very handsome with his wet hair and strong body, and I smile at him. "Hi Skylar!" I say, looking away so he won't get uncomfortable. "I just wanted to see if you knew where my common room was? I lost my map and the teachers said they changed it's location from last year."

I walk outside going to the common room and seeing my mom standing by Mr. Zeller." Hi Mr. Zeller"

Lyka|F|Fire Leader|Power- Animal Shifter, Fire controller|M: Open I grin at him and follow him, asking, "Did you hear all the news? And what's wrong with the common rooms?" I duck behind him so Mr. Zeller won't see me. My interactions with teachers have been less than great today.

Askel/Male/Fire Student/Water&Ice manipulation/M:Silver Layne ◊ I finished breakfast and threw the trash away. While walking past the dorms I noticed one of the windows on it were all cracked and looked kinda burnt. I decided to go check it out. Once I made it into the dorm and to the room I saw my roommate go into.it and close it behind him just as I rounded the corner if the hall. Once I made it to the door, I gave it a gentle knock and asked "Is everything okay in there?"

Layne Marie // 17 // M // Star Lead // Respawn/Winged // M: Silver Under normal circumstances, Layne probably would've backed out and done his best to survive. However, Layne was not under normal circumstances. He was also not exactly known for self-preservation. Most of the time. But today was not the day for that. The heat was nigh unbearable and yet, he still pushed through. "Silver?" He echoed quietly, his eyes flickering with unease. "Silver, what's... going on?" Layne finally stepped into the room and then exhaled softly. The piles of ashes, remains of metal and twisted furniture told him at least something. He glanced back to Askel as his roommate rounded the corner. Layne shook his head lightly. "I ... don't think so," he whispered. Layne exhaled softly. "Silver, can we help?" Fabian Zeller // 26 // M // Unicorn // VP+Teacher // M: students Fabian dipped his head lightly. "Skylar," he dipped his head. His height allowed him to spot Lyka as well but he finally tutted. "Lyka. Come get your gifts," he urged, looking toward Darcy. He couldn't really reach back to grab individual gifts.

Lyka|F|Fire Leader|Power- Animal Shifter, Fire controller|M: Open A bit embarrassed, I nod. "Okay, sorry. I ah, though I had to tie my shoe?" I hide my laceless flip flops behind Skylar's shoes. "And I don't think I got any presents. Who would get me one?" I smile at him, a bit sadly, but do my best to hide it as I straighten.

Askel/Male/Fire Student/Water&Ice manipulation/M:Layne Silver ◊ He looked around at what was left of the room. It was unbearably hot. "What happened in her?" I said has I made a small motion of my hand to start creating ice to try and cool off the room before we were cooked alive. Slowly it started working.

Silver | Female | Fire Student | Energy Manipulation | M: Layne, Askel, Parents. Steam soon began to fill the room as Askel's ice battled with the temperature in the room as it fought to keep rising against his efforts, sweat now beading along her forehead as her hair flickered a bit, like a candle being gently blown upon. Soft shivers made their way along her shoulders as she half crossed her arms in front of her, as if she was trying to hold herself together. ° "My parents.. T-They've taken all my savings.. To buy a place f-for my brother." She sniffled as her ability gave off another wave of heat, the mention of her parents seeming to fuel her anger and resentment towards them. "That was all I had left to go back to once I graduated here-! And now I have fucking four dollars to live off of-!!" Tears lead down her cheeks, leaving red streaks in their wake as she felt herself slipping further, the flames in her hair started to die out as her anger began to give way to sadness and panic. ° "What am I supposed to do..?! It's Christmas day and they've taken everything from me all because I don't live there and apparently 'dont need it more than them'..!!" Silver's voice raised as she attempted to stay strong in front of Layne and Askel, but she knew deep down it was a lost cause. While she was stuck in this place there was nothing she could do about her parents actions. More tears flowed down her face as she sunk onto the charred remains of her bed, heaving a quivering sigh as she lowered her face into her hands as she sat hunched over.

Layne Marie // M // 17 // Star Lead // Respawn/Winged // M: Silver, Askel "you... don't go back." The words out of Layne's mouth were equally as surprising as they were calm. His sapphire eyes focused on Silver as he finally stepped forward, braving heat and possibly burns to reach out. His pale hand stretched forward, slowly reaching to cup her cheek. "That, and, we can sue them for it all back," Layne added with a rather smug noise. "But right now, look at me." His heart raced in his chest but he knew full well what he was doing. This wasn't his first rodeo either. His parents had done the same to his adopted cousin/brother. Notably, he didn't live with his parents anymore either. Technically, since Dawson was considered "missing" ... well, Layne stayed with Jasper. His older brother. But, Jasper was hardly around anyways. "Lift your eyes and look at me," Layne whispered, guiding her cheek and jaw up with gentle fingers. "Let them think they have the upper hand right now. We'll work with the principal and vice principal and get things sorted out. Until then, you're safe here. No one is going to hurt you like that." His other hand stretched out, carefully wrapping around her shoulders to pull Silver into a loose embrace, aided by feathered wings. "Christmas miracle? You've got friends--a real family--who cares more than they ever will," Layne murmured softly. "I promise."
