Black Cherry kept her eyes on the other wolf, less suspicious about her but still unsure. She doesn't seem too dangerous, but that doesn't mean anything... Black Cherry thought.

Desolate looked up as the strange wolf approached. He tried to get up, failed, fell yet again, and then just stared off into the distance, like he'd given up on fleeing. He was startled when the stranger helped him back to the den instead of attacking, and kept a weary eye on her, still feeling a bit light-headed.
He collapsed on the ground at the back of the den, groaning, and closing his eyes.

Ashka stepped backwards from the pale wolf, examining the den. She pivoted on her heels to the other two wolves, and sniffed the air. "My name is Ashka." She said to them. Ashka's tail waved in the sand as she sat on the dusty ground.

(grasslands, no sand) Sunset Shadow stretched her forepaws and got up.

Desolate turned his head away, eyes still closed, and put his paws over his face, saying nothing. He didn't know what to say. I don't get why this wolf was growling at us, and now looks like she wants to help! He thought as the ringing in his ears faded all the way. Edited at December 4, 2025 03:19 PM by The Raven's Nest

Black Cherry eyed Ashka again. Hmm. She thought. I don't know about her. Or maybe that's because I don't trust wolves that seem like they're going to attack you at one minute and want to help you the next. But...she doesn't seem like she's going to hurt Desolate. Not yet, anyways. Black Cherry sat down in the shade of the den, still watching Ashka and Sunset Shadow.
