Ink I could definitely get behind that ^^. And if players wanted to have weather events included somehow, maybe during blizzard or something, a wolf's coat will get thicker and add an extra point or two on damage taken away |

@Prevail Definitely! It would make exploring and creating teams more interesting too depending how it effects game play. Especially if its not a drastic effect but still noticeable. I would also be interesting to see it effecting hunger/thirst. Especially in summer for thick furred wolves, they would get thirsty sooner |

Oh my goodness I spent so much time on this piece of art adding all the detail. Still gotta add a bit of detail here and there but next step will be to paint it on cardboard |

I'm talking about damage dealt from NPCs. You know animals with really thick fur/skin in real life can stand more bites, scratches, whatever from other animals. That's why I say it seems realistic to me. And as I said, it could just take off two or three points from the enemy's damage |

Khaos Ooh, okay, thank you ^^ Cassi, Ink I really like the idea of it affecting damage. That seems realistic to me. Doesn't have to be a huge effect, just something lol |

I imagine if there was an effect from fur types, I think it wouldn't be a huge difference. Just something that is like weather vitals but not so drastic. Such as not finding as many mushrooms or buried relics maybe? Slightly lower hit chance? Then obviously the opposite with a slightly improved stat on the other end for fur types that fit the season. I could see it being a way where each wolf benefits in different the two drastic seasons like summer and winter, then meeting in the middle ground spring/fall. We'd probably end up having a summer team and winter team. It would be an interesting addition but also I could see it being frustrating x'D |

Anatolian Ill take anything besides rootbeer or mountain dew |

About me:Hello! My name's ShimmeringIllusion. However, feel free to call me Illusion, Zarida or Katze88 too! I am a returning player from 2022, so I am not new. Still, I forgot about most mechanics of the game. You probably see me for the first time as I don't chat a lot, if at all. I am too socially anxious and shy to communicate a lot. That's also why I may not respond immediately to messages, I apologize. I'm not very talkative. ^^'. It's also heavily suspected that I have autism. As of now it's only suspected by my doctor and people I know though, so I still need a proper diagnosis. Let's hope my social anxiety won't stop me from trying to get one. ^^'.I have chronic sleep deprivation and I tend to have a lot of migraines which makes it difficult to focus. I apologize if this makes me read something wrong. I try my best to focus!.I am aroace and agender- feel free to use any pronouns. I can also speak 4 languages, although I have just started learning the 4th one a year ago- so I will have difficulties. Feel free to send me friend requests if you'd like! :D.I LOVE animals! It doesn't matter which one- I love them all! I DO have animals I like more, but I don't have any animals I dislike or hate! I am an aspiring vet, so I love to research about animals and their health! It will still take a long time for me to become a vet though).I am a pretty boring person, lol. I don't watch a lot of movies/series because I tend to get hyperfixated on the ones I do watch. I only watch animated shows- I dislike real shows (ONLY exception to this are animal shows). Some examples of shows I like are: How to train you dragon (NOT the Nine Realms though! I hate it...), Pokemon (haven't watched in years- knowledge is rusty), Nimona, Bungou Stray Dogs, My Hero Academia (haven't watched past season 6 yet! Gotta do that at some point), Death Note (not the full show yet! ALSO gotta watch until the end) and more..I do draw and sketch traditionally (I can't draw digitally), but I rarely do so due to time reasons and a lack of motivation. My drawings are as naturalistic and/or realistic as I can make them. I primarily draw animals or plants- I don't like drawing humans. I don't feel comfortable sharing my art online though, sorry! That's the reason why I don't have a profile picture..About my pack: (Work in progress!!!)The Tranquilnight pack (This is the name I used before ShimmeringIllusion. I didn't know that the pack name you'd choose will also be your profile name.) was formed on October the 14th. It was formed by two dispersals, Silvermoon and Nightsky. Despite their unfit personalities to lead a pack, they are miraculously keeping everyone together. However, they differ slightly from most wild wolf packs. Instead of consisting solely of their offspring, they also accept strangers. Still, they are very picky about who gets to join the pack, hence why some dispersals are met with extreme caution- or even hostility- if they trespass onto Tranquilnight pack's territory..Just like with most packs, Tranquilnight pack is a familial unit, safe for the dispersals that join. The pack's roles include the breeding pair, elders, subordinates, yearlings and pups. Nevertheless, subordinates may also breed if the breeding pair allows it..The current roles for each wolf are:Elders:/Breeding pair: Silvermoon (breeding male), Nightsky (breeding female)Subordinates: Auburn, Swiftpaw, Spottedsun, Patchpelt, Sokol, DarkskyYearlings:/Pups: Dayax..Extra information for the pack:I follow the pack dynamic wild wolf packs have- not captive ones. Therefore, I do not use the term "alphas". While some people still use this, the reason why I avoid it is because most people associate this with the old alpha theory. Wild wolf packs also don't have "betas" and "omegas" either, hence I don't use those terms as well. Also, despite how rare subordinate breeding pairs are in wild wolf packs, I do allow subordinates to breed for more pups. Additionally, I primarily keep female wolves for breeding. I only keep males I REALLY like and don't want to sell.1 Comments |
