Hello! My name's ShimmeringIllusion. However, feel free to call me Illusion, Zarida or Katze88 too! I am a returning player from 2022, so I am not new. Still, I forgot about most mechanics of the game. You probably see me for the first time as I don't chat a lot, if at all. I am too socially anxious and shy to communicate a lot. That's also why I may not respond immediately to messages, I apologize. I'm not very talkative. ^^'

It's also heavily suspected that I have autism. As of now it's only suspected by my doctor and people I know though, so I still need a proper diagnosis. Let's hope my social anxiety won't stop me from trying to get one. ^^'

I have chronic sleep deprivation and I tend to have a lot of migraines which makes it difficult to focus. I apologize if this makes me read something wrong. I try my best to focus!

I LOVE animals! It doesn't matter which one- I love them all! I DO have animals I like more, but I don't have any animals I dislike or hate! I am an aspiring vet, so I love to research about animals and their health! It will still take a long time for me to become a vet though.

I am a pretty boring person, lol. I don't watch a lot of movies/series because I tend to get hyperfixated on the ones I do watch. I only watch animated shows- I dislike real shows (ONLY exception to this are animal shows). Some examples of shows I like are: How To Train Your Dragon (NOT the Nine Realms though! I hate it...), Pokemon (haven't watched in years- knowledge is rusty), Nimona, Bungou Stray Dogs, My Hero Academia (haven't watched past season 6 yet! Gotta do that at some point), Death Note (not the full show yet! ALSO gotta watch until the end) and more.

I do draw and sketch traditionally (I can't draw digitally), but I rarely do so due to time reasons and a lack of motivation. My drawings are as naturalistic and/or realistic as I can make them. I primarily draw animals or plants- I don't like drawing humans. I don't feel comfortable sharing my art online though, sorry! That's the reason why I don't have a profile picture.

The pack's history has been moved to "Profile"! It's still in progress though and I will work on it whenever I have the time and motivation.

Just like with most packs, Tranquilnight pack is a familial unit, safe for the dispersals that join. The pack's roles include the breeding pair, elders, subordinates, yearlings and pups. Nevertheless, subordinates may also breed if the breeding pair allows it.

The current roles for each wolf are:

Elders: Silvermoon, Nightsky, Auburn, Swiftpaw, Spottedsun, Patchpelt, Sokol, Darksky, Frostfawn, Dayax

Breeding pair: Aýaz (breeding female), Kewan (breeding male)

Subordinates: Moonlight, Acornfur, Starpelt, Spruceheart, Squirrelshine, Weaselsoul

Yearlings: Eaglestrike

Pups: Rabbitpaw

Extra information for the pack:

I follow the pack dynamic wild wolf packs have- not captive ones. Therefore, I do not use the term "alphas". While some people still use this, the reason why I avoid it is because most people associate this with the old alpha theory. Wild wolf packs also don't have "betas" and "omegas" either, hence I don't use those terms as well.

Also, despite how rare subordinate breeding pairs are in wild wolf packs, I do allow subordinates to breed for more pups. Additionally, I primarily keep female wolves for breeding. I only keep males I REALLY like and don't want to sell.

About elders: I was unsure when I should consider a wolf to be an elder. I initially thought wolves above 5 or 6 years should be elders as that is approximately when wolves start physically declining. However, that would mean wolves would become elders VERY quickly here. Instead, I decided to make them elders a bit later, but not too late. Therefore, 10 year old wolves are elders.

I don't pay attention to the heritage of wolves, meaning my wolves may be inbred or not. I don't care if they are- I care about the appearance of wolves, rarity score, defects, boosts and the talent count. ^^

Order of importance: defect/boost>appearance>talent count>rarity score

Goals:

I don't currently have a lot of goals. However, my main one is to get all defects/boosts at least once if I can!
