pack story
the pack of noctua exists atop a ruthless northern mountain range, mostly untravelled by humankind. the winters are bitterly cold and the summers are only marginally kinder.

the current occupants of the pack include Fawn, the lone female to found the new pack, Tanager, a hulking red she-wolf who rescued Fawn from a boar attack, and the newest addition, Pebble, a sprightly pup of grey fur.

side account of #162757. i've had mulitple accounts since 2015, with many prolonged hiatuses within that time period, but limbo is my main (and only other active) account B]
& yes, i am friends with myself lmao

what is noctua about?
i wanted a more difficult experience, so inspired by the forum linked above and the 'nuzlocke' challenge, i mushed together some self-imposed rules that must be followed. why? because i love playing the hardest difficulties in the most punishing games, and wolfplay was getting too easy with my massive mush stash and boosted wolves lol.

the rules may change over time, but any changes will most likely intend to make this challenge harder.

• Fawn; the founder of the pack, a brindled mousy-brown wolf with white panda markings. abandoned by her previous pack as an expecting she-wolf, she strives to reform a pack better than those who scorned her.
• Tanager; a large red speckled she-wolf. She saves Fawn from a boar attack and joins under the guise of protecting her until she can prove herself capable, however, she has no intention of leaving.
