an occasional plague upon this site for 6 years.

since nobody cares even slightly, my username comes from a string of water-themed pseudonyms i've had since i was a wee child. "raining", "imber", which supposedly means "rain" in latin, "droplet", "aquatic" (and then "aqua" or "awua", as my friends accidentally and then very purposefully misspelled it) and various be-underscored or dashed variations. i slapped "aqua" together with "gent", because username "gen" is a joke in my head for reasons that will not be named and "gent" makes me think of dirk gently and the song "gently johnny", which goes "gentlyyyyy gently johnny" and comes from or at least was best performed in the movie "the wicker man".

i have a habit of making accounts here semiyearly and then being devastated to find they expired when i have an interest again. if you'd like to stay in contact, let me know, and i'll at least warn you if that's happening.
