Deep within the cold and icy tundran forests, the shadows watch. Every movement signals them, every breath is captured by their ears, and nowhere is a safe hiding place.

Ayaz is the name now whispered here. His snowy pelt is difficult to spot among the whitened ground. Always be informed of his presence.

As for Reina, she is never far behind. Her intelligence is unmatched, and her eyes are sharp. If she spots you, no mercy will be given.

Be careful oh ye weary wanderer... for you are not safe here.

// About the Pack //

Tucked deep into the frozen tundra forests is where the Caribou Creek Pack reside. The founding members are Diablo and Hex, two black-coated wolves with a deep rooted love for the lands they call their home. The love and loyalty they have for one another and their pack surpasses all else, and if nothing else passes on through them that surely will always remain.

This pack is not directly hostile, but that does not mean that they are friendly. The wolves here are guarded, loyal, and all extremely tight-knit, as well as very protective of the things they call their own. Food, land, pups, one another...are all very important things.

The pack of Caribou Creek's diet mostly consists of Moose, Elk, Caribou, Deer, and Rabbits/Hares

// Ranks & Roles //

-Alpha Male-

This position is currently held by Ayaz. The job required of an Alpha Male is to guide, lead, and protect the pack he calls family. All decisions are made final by he and his mate.

-Alpha Female-

This position is currently held by Reina. The Alpha Female holds just as much--if not more--power as her mate. She too is responsible to guide, lead, and protect the pack. All decisions are made final by her and her mate together.

Key difference in the female's role is that she is also responsible for guiding, teahcing, and protecting any mothers of the pack, as well as sharing the responsibility of pupsitting when needed. The Alpha Female provides all future heirs for the pack, unless all heirs die.

-Heirs-

Sons and daughters of the ruling pair. All have the potential to become the future King or Queen once their parents retire. This wolf once in power has choice of a mate.

-Beta-

This wolf is second-in-command to the alpha pair. He/she is chosen by the alphas and holds the responsibilities of the alphas when they are not present or if they will be absent for days on end.

-Lead Hunter-

A wolf who is in charge of leading the hunting parties, and training the new hunters. Takes over if the Beta dies.

-Hunters-

These wolves are in charge of bringing down prey (large and small) to feed the pack. All hunters range in age, but groups are mostly made up of wolves ages 3 and older.

These wolves are also responsible for attacking/battling/dealing with any trespassers or rival packs, and serve as scouts.

-Mothers-

These wolves spend most of their lives nurtering, nursing, pupsitting and raising any pups of the pack, whether they are their own or not. These are strictly female wolves, and only certain ones are allowed to breed and have any pups of their own.

These wolves may be chosen to become the mate of any male heir.

-Elders-

While extremely respected and valued amongst the pack, the Elders no longer hold their high ranks. These wolves are a group made up of any aging wolves that are no longer able to breed, hunt, or serve the pack physically. Some lend a hand in watching over pups, while others live mostly in quiet solitude.

-Suitors-

Any male wolf of 30R or above. These wolves are public studs and are in the running for becoming the mate of a chosen female heir

-Pups-

Any pup ages newborn to 2 years old. They spend majority of these couple years with Mothers and Elders, and once old enough they begin their training.

// Rules //

‣ All final decisions must be made by the alpha pair

‣ The pack must be tight-knit and function as a close family. No wolf left behind.

‣ The Alpha Male must ONLY mate with the Alpha Female. Infidelity may result in exile or death by his own mate's maw.

‣ The Alpha Female may take another male as a suitor, but strictly for reproduction/bloodline purposes. If she is caught having any romantic affairs with another male punishment may result in exile or death by her own mate's maw.

‣ No wolf under 3 years of age shall wander alone.

‣ Females with 30+ natural rarity and decent bloodlines may breed, those who do not meet these requirements are not allowed to take a mate or breed as long as they reside in this pack.

Breaking this rule may result in exile or physical punishment.

‣ Males of 30+ rarity and decent bloodlines may breed outside of the pack

// Territories //

Caribou Creek

The pack's name and the land mass they inhabit. It is a large and vast tundra spotted with dark and cold forests, abundant with rotating herds of caribou and lots of smaller prey.

Shadow's Grove

A particularly secluded and hidden section of one of Caribou Creek's forests. Here is where the main den of the pack is located. Breeding mothers and their pups reside here at all times.
