| So for example, I stumble upon four crocs who I know will take a chunk out of my precious explore team. I enter in some wolves I use exclusively as breeders and spam attack until all the opponents have fled. You can even set them to a defensive maneuver to decrease damage. If the fodder dies first I just send in more bodies. Then when it gets to a reasonable number of opponents left I swap in my explore team to finish them off |

| @Pico That's correct. However, you can swap in canon fodder wolves (wolves with little to no CP) to get through battles you must face in order to pass the level like Cres said. Then once all the opponent enemies have fled (or defeated somehow), you can re-enter in your actual explore team and continue |

| @Pico As many explore wolves as you can afford to have is my recommendation. The typical explore pack won't really need more than six and this is the most cost efficient option imo without losing out on explore performance. Generally the wolves with the greatest amount of BE are chosen for encounters so you can even cheapo out on CP on some of them But yes, you can enter any which wolf you want to get through the battle |
