I love being in the Midwest because occasionally my mom will stop by and offer me random gas station snacks. yep, thanks mom, I needed 12 boxes of "fiddle faddle"

Me too, did not want to have another Annabelle xD
Annie stayed in the house for a month straight and kept everyone awake at night crying for a bottle and attention. She was pulled from her mother because she had barely any milk hours after kidding. Gave her cow's milk and half and half mixed together. Maybe some colostrum replacer mixed in but I'm not sure

I think she gets too much milk to where it's painful to let them nurse the first night, but milking her early can cause labor before she's fully ready
It is a bit, but thankfully she let me milk her on the milking stand after the babies were gone

We bottle fed them because I don't have many goats. Moo was the first one to go this year and the others are dry/young
Though goats aren't;t very likely to take on a different kid due to scent. They seem to only want their kids. It's probably possible to get one to accept another kid if you get enough of her scent on it
