I’m a pretty snippy person, so I’d probably ask if this is how they want me to treat other customers. If they say yes, and the call is recorded, I’d inform their boss. You won’t get any promotions after this, but its about your kid, and your boss shouldn’t ever say that to a customer, employee or not.
