I'll never get those. I couldn't imagine the pain when they get snagged. My daughter sticks her finger in my gauge and yanks it and sometimes that hurts. She's too fascinated by them.

Oof, that's rough. My old co-worker had three piercings on her chest and they always looked irritated. She said they could only be surgically removed but I can't remember what they are called.

See, I'm not brave enough for a nose piercing xD I can stretch my earlobes no problem but eyebrow, lip, tongue etc piercings I'm not brave enough to do.

If you do it correctly, I promise it's not bad at all. I have had mine for 10 years and I want to go up a size for my top ones but I feel like it might look weird. My tops are a smaller size then my bottom.

If you use coconut oil or Vaseline on the tapper, it just slides right through without pain.

My top ones didn't since I actually went up a size each week gradually like you are supposed to but my bottom ones I was an idiot and went from a tiny ear pierce hole to a size 0g which is big enough for me to put a pencil through. If you start with the smaller size tapper and slowly go up, it doesn't hurt.
