My sister has that piercing done and she told me it hurt. She has a ton of piercings and tattoos, though. I think her cartilage was her second piercing back in high school and she's in her late 30's now.

For me it would be but for you it will hurt just like it does for everyone but pain tolerance also plays in it. Everyone handles pain differently so for some people it's a piece of cake and for others it's hell.
