I adored my sister's leopard geckos. I constantly held them whenever I was at her house and they were so chill. If I ever got a lizard, I would need to do such intensive research because I'm clueless on reptiles. Toss a Guinea pig, rat, mouse, etc at me and I'm already knowledgeable on them. He has a rabbit and that takes up most of his room already. I told him the most he can get while he has the rabbit is fish.

See I love rats but hate mice, Beardies are great but I don't own them they are much more intensive care-wise than any of my snakes, that being said I do own 5 lizards as well Leopards, a Crested and a Blue tongued skink, I'd recommend a Leo over a beardie any day

Those are some huge snakes. My son wants a bearded dragon but I told him no. Reptiles aren't my thing. I'm more of a rodent person. I owed rats consistently for 20 years and recently stopped owning them two years ago. I needed a little break from them.

I'm 4' 11" and I recently handled a 10+ foot Reticulated Python, I've also handled a 13 ft boa and she was 35lbs (a 3rd of my body weight) and she was STRONG boy howdy, anything over 10ft for me needs a second person in the vicinity just in case, thats my own safety protocol

Maybe he was just wrapping around and it felt like he was from how huge he was. I'm only 5'3 and her snake was heavy. They just scare me lol. Her large green iguana and her leopard geckos I loved, though. She owned tarantulas too but those I hated.
