I'm currently writing my own series and I'm doing heavy on plot, light on spice in the first book and it'll progress from book to book. I have to have a detailed plot to be able to read a book, if there isn't plot then it doesn't read the same.

im going to be so honest i tend to stick with juvenile fiction novels because they have the plot without the spice :'0

There's a few spicy scenes but it isn't like a solely focused spicy book. There's way more plot then spice.

You guys should look into the Inked Series by Rachel Reyner. The whole series kept me up late reading it was so good. If you like tattoo artists who might have secret ink and a fun bird familiar, a wardrobe that leads to a whole other world, and a lady with "golden blood" then you'll want to check the series out.
