I mean I don't explore on mobile but I wouldn't know, but the whole point of the update with the no lag and the new whatever it is was supposed to help with lag not harm it.

Yeah, the frame rates and responsiveness of explore have dropped drastically after the mobile update. I used to be able to rip through a level in 15-20min by clicking up a storm on my touchscreen. You don't see many of the old explore vets on the leaderboard anymore because of this
