I don't think we can go into specific cities, but there's a lot of cities in Texas that have some cool spots to check out. I'm not sure how crowded they feel though. I also loved visiting New Mexico when I was younger. There was this one restaurant with piranhas (living, not food) and parrots, and the food tasted great. I always forget what it's called, but I'd love to go again someday.

I'm from western Montana and I'd definitely suggest here. There's lots of beautiful sights to see, national parks, activities in cities/towns, etc.

My and my family go to Wisconsin every year. We stay in the Lacrosse area and fish for a week. I typed this then remembered that its basically winter but still 🤷‍♀️ cool hills and water. Good fishing and really good ice cream.
