If she's a large dog breed than I'd probably suggest waiting until about 18 months to two years if possible because spaying early can cause health problems. If she's a small breed I think after the first heat or a year old is accepted? I can't quite remember for that.

Eden - you should probably wait until the maturing age of a yorkie. I didn’t get my German shepherd spayed until she was 3 but it’s recommended to wait until they are two
