gosh i guess i'm really lucky growing up in a non-religious family-
my mom is mildly transphobic but i don't think she means to be and i've just totally given up on that, but i think my isolationist lifestyle (and the fact that i'm still very closeted) has also prevented me from experiencing that kind of hate
