Where I am it's around the same amount of time in school (maybe a year or two longer for cardiology including residency) so that doesn't make a difference. Cardiologists make bank, I think they're in the top paid of all doctors, and from what my dad tells me they don't tend to have to do any of the gross open wound stuff. CDAs do awesome work and they're so important but depending on what types of cases you take, it could end up being somewhat more charity work instead of actual work (for low income communities etc) HOWEVER I do think it's very possible to find a good position with a firm (or even create your own if you're so inclined). Cardiology and med school also just seem more interesting to me lol
