Yeah, fleas sometimes seemingly appear out of nowhere. I believe sometimes the pests can hitch a ride on us and that's probably how it spreads to indoor only kitties :') We have a dog so she brings them inside, but also our kittens are rescues that my aunt captured while she was doing spay/neuter and release.
