Shadowed Soul whimpered with his ears down and tail tucked between his legs as he slowly walked through the forest. 'It was all my fault that dad and mom died...all my fault.'

The alpha sneered at him with disdain and slowly stalked towards him one step at a time menacingly. 'Run and don't stop because when we find you well you be just nothing but a bad dream'

He whimpered and ran as fast as he could and took one look and winced as they smiled at him and said 'When we meet again, young one. Your death will be a gift but what you experience before will be pain'

He was so caught up in his flashback that he didn't pay attention to his surroundings and accidently bumped into something. He got up and saw that he bumped into a beautiful she-wolf pup. He quickly got up off her and blushed slightly in embarrassment and at her beauty. " I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention. I didn't hurt you did i? If you're hurt then I'll help you. I'll make it up to you just tell me what you want and I'll get it for you." He rambled. She chuckled before she gently licked his cheek. Even at a young age she could tell he was special to her and was her other half that she didn't know she was missing. He looked at her in shock before he chuckled nervously and said "my name is Shadowed Soul and you are?". She smiled at him excitedly before saying "My name is Bella. What pack are you from?" She watched as his blue eyes turned so dark that out looked black. Before he mumbled sadly "I don't want to talk about it please?". She looked him in concern before she nodded and nuzzled his neck before saying "Okay, I understand but just know that if you want to talk to someone then you can always come to me okay?". He looked at her and nodded his head and smiled widely before saying "Okay, but when I'm ready then you will be the first to know".

As time passed they opened up to each other and loved each other endlessly. Everything was fine until tragedy struck and his young and beautiful mate passed too soon at the age of 8. So now he mourns his dead mate but continues on knowing his mate wouldn't want him to be sad forever. So now he waits patiently and can't wait to join her in the after life.
