Biography
Born into a proud heritage of noble leaders, Midnight Storm currently holds the title as alpha female.
But she isn't treated like a leader from every individual in the pack, however.
On an unusually cold winter evening, the winds brought to her the scent of unease on the horizon. Sensing the trouble in the air, she commanded the pack to fan out and find the growing potential threat: an unknown lone male.
She then realized that one of her own pack members was missing: Vixen.
Spreading out, yet remaining within close proximity of one another, all wolves closed in on the stranger's scent. Midnight Storm caught Vixen's scent as well, and she assumed the stranger was pursuing Vixen in a bad way.
Launching the ambush, Midnight Storm waited until the stranger was weakened so she could deliver the killing blow. She was almost tempted not to kill him, but she didn't know this wolf and saw him as a threat. As she clamped her jaws on the loner's throat and suffocated him, Vixen emitted a whimpering scream as the light faded from his eyes.
After the attack, all of the pack decided to go back to their den. Before they departed, Midnight Storm was blindsided by an enraged Vixen for having killed her would-be mate. The unexpected assault sent a chain reaction through all the pack, and Vixen was soon surrounded by enemies. Nobody attacked the alpha female!
Countering Vixen's attack, Midnight Storm soon gained the advantage over her, and she pinned Vixen to the ground. The rumble may have lasted only a minute, but neither wolf came out unharmed.
Vixen didn't deserve to live having turned on her leader, but Midnight Storm spared her life to have this serve as a life lesson: only the alphas were allowed to have mates.
To this day, they still have their grudges and disputes, but Midnight Storm never lost a battle against Vixen. Even as Midnight Storm ages, she relies on experience more than strength to hold her title as alpha female.
She would never stop fighting for it.
