I try to forget my past. It was a terrible past, one filled with loneliness and despair. I barely remember what my parents look like. However, I am glad for that. The reason? They seemed to deny that I was their pup. They rarely fed me and they sometimes bit me for no reason. I was happy when they left.Â… until I realized I had to find a way to live on my own.
For a long time, I survived off of squirrels and rabbits. I was neither hungry nor happy. I was so lonely. I was ready to give up. Then I found Slash claw. Apparently, she was trying to catch a fish when she fell into the fast-flowing river.
I did not stop to think. I just acted. She was in trouble. She needed to be saved. And I was the only one who could save her. She did not trust me at first. But I trusted her with all my heart. After all, I fell in love with her the minute I saw her. She came from a similar background so we decided to make a pack that welcomes all wolves without decent homes.
We soon found out there was pups on the way. The day they were born was the day of the Great Blizzard. An enemy pack challenged us and we fought during the freezing night. Unfortunately, only one of the pups survived. I will still love my pup, and my mate, no matter what.
