Biography Kara inclined her head and nodded several times. "You think that this will be the ultimate betrayal towards your pack." She finally said while mulling over his words. Crazy? Yes. She thought and smirked, her head dropped and she allowed herself the barest of smilies. "Arretez can learn. You don't need to let on that it's going to be a shared training lesson...Piwan and I can 'accidentally' find you two tomorrow. Arretez might be stand offish but he's a male and Piwan is a female. He might just underestimate her, given what he saw of her yesterday and I do not think he would want admit to his parents that he had his tail whipped by some female 'from the other side'" Kara mused out loud.
"Ahhhh, I see the real reason behind your reluctance. You are worried...About how it would look to my pack to be spotted with you." Karangahake teased and moved forwards, her height forcing her to look up at Bandicoot. "It wouldn't be too bad..." She murmured with a purr. She would never attempt to tease Heiz. He didn't have a sense of humour anymore. She briefly wondered what Heiz was doing right now-probably wooing some unsuspecting female but she shook it out of her mind. By the time that idiot realised she was no longer interested it would be too late. Part of her felt guilty for leaving her paired mate but she doubted he felt the same remorse as she did. It also wasn't as if she'd picked Bandicoot because he was an easy target-that was actually quite the opposite, or at least she hoped he wasn't easy to get. She had seen him several times with Arretez and made herself known but there were also the times she followed like a love-struck pup which was utterly silly because she was growling old now and had hoped that silly little crushes would disappear with time, but she was wrong.
Bandicoot occupied her entire mind which was often why she preferred to be alone. It was better that way. At least her pack supposed she was 'thinking' while she was alone rather than being involved with a hunting party and off with the fairies. It was something about Bandicoot she couldn't name. Maybe it was the way he didn't treat her differently; like she was some sort of alien. Or perhaps it was because she was drawn to the way he was fairly blunt about most things. She liked that; straight to the point. Funny though, how she was beating around the bush right now.
Karangahake gently pushed his head up again. She had practically forced him into a tight spot. There wasn't any other opportunity she had to be able to see Bandicoot without raising the alarms within his pack or having Heiz spot them together. She was actually glad that the majority of her pack were not seasoned hunters which had most of their numbers out on a hunting party. "I know it's not simple, but we canmake this work." She grinned and rubbed her head under his chin once more, unaware that he reciprocated her feelings. "Thank you, Bandicoot, and for what it's worth...If we're caught I'll be taking the blame." She paused before looking over at Piwan. "Alright, we best be going now. You've a long day ahead of you tomorrow."
Piwandæstess was ready to go, now that the attention had been taken off of her she didn't feel as uncomfortable, but she couldn't remember the way they'd come and quietly cursed herself for her inattention, so she waited for Kara to take the lead, rolling her eyes as she heard Karangahake's last statement. How could her pack not see that Kara was no longer interested in Heiz, and was instead after Bandicoot? Piwan shrugged. She was new member of the pack, but felt as though Karangahake was her mother. "See you...Tomorrow, Bandicoot." Karangahake called as she started leaving his pack's grounds.
"Do you two...Have a thing?" Piwan asked as soon as she thought they were out of earshot and stifled a giggle. Kara hushed her quickly, telling her that there was absolutely nothing going on between her and Bandicoot, which was only partially true. The pair walked briskly, or rather, Kara did and Piwan followed suite. Nearing their own boarder, Kara asked for Piwan to keep what they had just discussed on the down-low. Piwan agreed. It wasn't like she had anyone to tell anyway. "Go and talk to Tika. She will show you around and introduce you to some pack members. I think it would do you some good." Kara suggested, causing Piwan to hesitate. "Go on. I just have to have a few words with Heiz first and then I'll be along shortly to accompany you." Karangahake explained, but in truth, she knew that as soon as Heiz smelt Bandicoot on her, he would make sure she stayed in the den all night.
Breeding Info N/A
| Personality Karangahake is a wolf who like to persevere. She'll plough on through any tough situation that has been thrown at her, but her spirit had been broken in her older years by her supposed mate and alpha male, 'Heiz'. If he so much as suspected she had been out with another male, he would automatically lash out at her. In her younger years she didn't worry so much but now that she had greying fur, she worried Heiz would kill her.
Preferences Karangahake loved to side with Heiz on any disagreements between pack members. This was when he was still sane. Nowadays Heiz has no humour and an argument with him could spell disaster, payment being the death of the one who had been foolish enough to argue.
Heiz was the only male the Karangahake would converse deeply with, but not anymore. After she spied Bandicoot, who resides in the pack known as Vennenum, she found herself drawn to him. She was wrong to think that silly little 'crushes' would not exist as she grew older.
Special Skills Karangahake's special skills include telling stories of mythical creatures to the youngsters. Chex-Mex used to scold her and tell her not to fill their heads with such nonsense, but she allows Karangahake to tell them anyway.
Her stories [and time spent with Bandicoot] are her 'safe haven' pulling her away from all the negative things that have happened over her lifetime.
