Sought out as a dispersal.

Ebony Drifter came from a privileged family far away. Unlike his siblings, he had no desire to fight over the leadership position there. He desired to bring his ambitions and knowledge elsewhere so that he could create a long-lasting legacy without the interference of his competitive family. He traversed many lands and hopped from group to group until he reached the Windswept Peaks.

Realizing that advice from an older wolf other than Champion may be useful, Maple sought out another dispersal that would have lived for a few years more. She found the impressive Ebony instead.

Ebony Drifter did not plan on staying in Maple’s pack for long until he found himself utterly intrigued with her female companion. Yes, intrigued, that’s what he called it at first. Their odd dynamic grew over the year-and-a-half he stayed until he realized that he could not part from Champion willingly.

Soft-spoken and stoic. Ebony Drifter comes off as much older and more brooding than he really is. He’s fairly wise. He dislikes conversation with most wolves on the basis of his preference for “equal-mindedness”. He’s a bit of a complainer when he does speak, but he is easily pacified. Despite his somewhat stuck-up behavior, he is quite smitten with Champion.
