Biography
Realising how fast she and her pack were aging Atropos decided she should find a mate to help her lead the pack. She ventured further into the forest than she ever had before, wandering for many days and weeks until she found the trees thickening, the air becoming dark and prey becoming more scarce. A rash leap after the first rabbit she had spotted for two days resulted in an injured paw.
In fear, limping, and now starting to weaken with hunger, she was looking for the path to return when she came across a huge wolf bearing a mysterious key. Her heart leapt, he was so handsome, perhaps this could be the one to lead her pack. Instead he glared at her while she tore into the meat he offered her and made no move to communicate with her as he applied ointment to her paw. When she woke in the night to see him staring at her she thought she fleetingly caught a wistful look in his cold brooding eyes. She stayed with the mysterious wolf until her paw was healed and she felt strong enough to journey home.
On that morning they mated briefly, tenderly, but with the sense of resignation to their fates hanging heavy in the air around them. Then he pointed Atropos in the right direction and turned away as she left. By the time she reached her pack the growing pup was obvious in her belly.
