In the spring of Aspen's first year as an adult, the pack moved from the desert to the mountains. Then, he bred to an outsider. In the fall of Aspen's seventh year, the pack moved from the mountains to the tundra. In the fall of his ninth year, Aspen's brother North left the pack. Later, Aspen found 10 mushrooms. Aspen's son Cypress was born in the summer of Aspen's fifteenth year by an outsider.
