a wolf sits by my mother, watching her trying to hide her worry, my mother's breath shallow, weakened from illness
and age.

I was only a few months old when my mother was taken the head healers tried their hardest to heal her but alas it was futile to try.

as I sit away from the others a wolf his face grey from age walks to me before sitting,
" your not joining us young one," he says calmly
"I miss her two you know, I knew her for so long we came to this pack together" he adds.

" Sorceress, there you are come over its warmer "a wolf says her fur that of darkness " before sighing,
" come back to the den lets see how the others are doing " she adds

as I enter I see the other wolves playing and head to join them looking to sprout who nods

I look to the wolf that raised me as he talks to the healers and others before heading to me,
"Sorceress, you know once moons ago your mother and I made a packed one I will make with you "he says calmly.

"if I am to pass before any of my kin come you watch them if younger, if older lead them to here tell them id love them "he says siting down.

I nod "I promise Sprout but you are in good health, "I say
"I know but Im old when my time comes do not mourn know this Ill be free "he says.

" You know every day I miss her your mother I know shes proud of you"he says smiling

"Sprout, I wish you could see me now I was given a new look I miss you... Father" I say as I look to the stone of the one that raised me the one who would be my father.
